Dan Carr- President
Dan founded Silverback Supply in 2011; a full line janitorial distribution company serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Before Silverback, Dan accumulated several years of experience within this field. In 1981, he went to work at Butchers Wax and moved to Chicago in 1982. Three years later, Dan began working at Betco as a Regional Sales Manager. In 1995, he was named Vice President of Sales and moved back to Toledo. Dan then decided to leave Betco in 2008 to form a national rep company, NOMA. There he sold microfiber, ice melt, chemicals, and paper to distributors.
Curt Hitchner- General Manager
Curt has been with Silverback Supply for 2 years and has 30 years of industry experience.
Previously, Curt was a Director of National Accounts, Marketing Product Manager, and Regional Sales Manager, and also worked with Dan Carr for 15 years at Betco.
Curt’s extensive national travel and work with distributors and end users across the country has well prepared him for the opportunity with Silverback. Curt and Dan have had a friendship for 20+ years and their individual skill sets make them a good team.
He always looks forward to providing others with the opportunity to grow in their position and with the company.
Curt has a BA in Marketing from The University of Toledo.
Kevin Carr- Vice President of Sales
Kevin started working for Silverback Supply part-time when Silverback started. Before being named a Regional Sales Managers, Kevin did a wide range of tasks for Silverback. These included warehousing, deliveries, and being a gym floor tech.
In addition to his experience at Silverback, Kevin worked at Raseri selling AT&T U-Verse (TV Internet and Phone Packages) in door-to-door sales and Betco to build his sales experience.
Kevin graduated from St. Francis deSales High School and then Bowling Green State University where he received a BA degree in Supply Chain Management.
Jay Sulier- Warehouse/Distribution Manager
Jay joined the Silverback Supply team as the Warehouse/Distribution Manager in March of 2015. He has accumulated 23 years of warehouse experience and has been in the Jan/San business for the past 17 years. In addition to his experience in the warehouse, Jay also did machine repair and delivery.
Jay graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1990 and attended the Nobles Service Tech School in 2002.
Jim Dandar- Equipment/Service Specialist
Jim Dandar joined the Silverback Supply team in our equipment/service division in 2016. He brings mechanical experience from troubleshooting and repairing exercise equipment.
Jim attended St Francis de Sales and the University of Toledo. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired firefighter.
Terry Brassell- Regional Sales Manager/ Customer Service Liason
Terry joined the Silverback Supply team in 2012 and currently holds the positions of Regional Sales Manager and Customer Service Liaison.
Before entering the janitorial and facility supply industry, Terry attended the University of Toledo from 1975-1979 where he studied both, music and business and spent 42 years in the music industry assisting clients with training and education.
With the knowledge he has gained from previous experiences, Terry understands the value of relationships. He learned early in his career (as a Blade Newspaper carrier) that happy customers are loyal and they share their positive experiences with others. Terry, along with his fellow Silverback associates, is sincerely committed to providing the highest level of service possible.

Andy Carl- Regional Sales Manger
Andy has been a part of Silverback’s team for 2 years and holds the position of a Regional Sales Manager.
During his career, Andy has accumulated 20+ years of experience building and maintaining food service relationships and has also done some commercial cleaning.
Jamie O’Connor- Purchasing Coordinator
Jamie joined the Silverback Team in the Fall of 2016 in the role of Purchasing Coordinator. She is new to the Jan/San industry, but has prior experience in the Food Service industry (in purchasing). She has also held previous purchasing roles and is also experienced in inventory management and website development.
Jamie works closely with our suppliers to ensure adequate inventory levels and negotiating the best contract pricing for our customers!
Missy Cannady– Office Manager
Missy joined Silverback as Office Manager in January 2019. She graduated from Owens Community College with an Associates Degree in Business. Her previous work experience included billing, reconciling accounts and customer service. Her Silverback responsibilities include Accounts Payables and daily receivables reconciling. She also assists with coordinating all equipment service orders and scheduling.
